Employers do not use credit scores. Despite that, this is the first paragraph on the Wrison home page:

In addition, a higher credit score and better credit profile can help you with credit card rates, auto loans, and help you get that job you wanted.

Ms. CHATZKY: ...you want to get a job, you want to get a decent rate on auto insurance, that credit score becomes very important. You have to know what it is and you have to try to do the right things in order to manage it.

VAZ-OXLADE: I totally agree. I think what's happened, though, is that we have made the credit score something so holy, that everybody will do whatever it takes to get a good, high credit score even though it's bad for them financially.

She totally agrees.
