False statements about credit scoring and U.S. history
| By Greg Fisher
Cable television channel CNN published false information on its website.
Credit Score Myth 7, exacerbated by CNN and mentioned below, is the notion that a ratio is weighted at 30% in a Fico credit score. That is not true. The simple math about it makes it impossible.
These messages to CNN are contained in a thread in the sequence below.

In his first sentence, CNN's Stephen Collinson falsely wrote, "The clash between President Joe Biden and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy over the US debt will decide who is the most dominant figure in Washington for most of the next two years."
— Greg Fisher (@creditscoring) June 24, 2023
Scalise is Majority Leader.
@stcollinson In another story for CNN, Collinson falsely wrote, "First, Senate Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy in a televised interview pointed out that the panel had driven down Clinton’s poll numbers."

This social media account, @creditscoring, and https://t.co/W0QDuGBvoJ, are about credit scoring. Other topics such as American politics prove a point about false information: If someone can't get fundamental U.S. history right, you can't expect them to get credit scoring right.
— Greg Fisher (@creditscoring) June 24, 2023
@liz_hund Ms. Hund, for CNN, you wrote, "That’s because the 'amounts owed' — your credit utilization ratio — make up 30% of your credit score." https://t.co/X5WHebJ1Sd

Holly Johnson wrote, "This factor is important since the amounts you owe in relation to your credit limit make up another 30% of your FICO score."
That is not true.
In fact, I control an internet domain just for that myth, https://t.co/BncziDMjI6.
