Proving that something is not true
Talking back to the talking head, and the talking head's reply
| By Greg Fisher
Last week on Fox News, a man identified by the channel as Steven Leser, "DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST" said: "They don't get, necessarily, a full report. They get the credit score."
According to its associated web page, the title of the segment was "Should potential employers be able to check your credit?"
Employers do not use credit scores because they cannot even get them.
In a previous instance, a word in a story on FoxBusiness.com changed from "score" to "report."
Leser also mentioned an organization named Demos.

.@StevenLeser, employers do not use #creditscores. I looked into it. We can stop the myth at https://t.co/LhpP2Y5UgP. (2:45 in the video)

@creditscoring If that's true, there should be no objection to the law, right?

.@stevenleser I see. Legislation based on false testimony. http://t.co/DJncLojQ0L This is about #truth and #falsity. http://t.co/X6FJCYICzq

@creditscoring no, I don't actually believe your stats. The fact that you don't reveal who you are doesn't help you

#Belief (or me) has nothing to do with this, @stevenleser. http://t.co/zIGRGb3Fzh Name one employer who uses scores. #BurdenOfProof is yours
— Greg Fisher (@creditscoring) December 19, 2013
@creditscoring nope, it's not. It's up to you to prove someone who obviously is a shill for the industry isn't lying
