The three main national consumer reporting agencies do not provide credit scores for employment purposes.
In 2012, an article on msnbc.com stated, “Your credit score, which is based on your credit history, can have an enormous effect – positive or negative – on your life. That score is used by employers, lenders, landlords and insurance companies. A good score could save you thousands of dollars a year in interest. A bad score could cost you a job or a loan.”
That statement changed. The writer replied that he is very serious about correct information.
Today, Newsvine ("a property of NBC News Digital"), states, "Your credit score, which is based on your credit history, can have an enormous effect – positive or negative – on your life. That score is used by employers, lenders, landlords and insurance companies."
Today's attempt to contact Comcast will be a test of the efficacy of a social media message.
