Dear Mr. Buffett:

An item on your website falsely states: "The importance of credit reports and credit scores has gone way beyond the original purpose of gauging the likelihood of someone repaying a loan. Insurance companies use them to determine who is a safe driver and employers use them to evaluate potential employees."

Employers do not use credit scores. I looked into it.

The bad work is attributed to a writer at the Pittsburg Post-Gazette. I tried to tell him.

Lest it spreads further, correct that syndicated error today.

Your article dated January 24, 2010 is inaccurate. creditscoring.com does not have multiple operators. Make a correction today.
