Microsoft publishes false information
Error regarding credit scores and employers and a syndicated error about the United States of America
| By Greg Fisher
@mcclatchy Make a correction, Ms. Carpenter. Reid is not the majority leader (largely due to being in the minority). https://t.co/pD4Rvn43FT

See this message and your response at http://creditscoring.com/interaction/2017/03/07-mcclatchy-microsoft.html [this page]. I am in the media, am on a deadline (it is today) and I am writing about you.
You published, falsely, "WASHINGTON — Contrary to recent claims by House Majority Leader Paul Ryan, R-Wis., experts say the nation’s community health centers don’t have the staffing or funding to handle the estimated 400,000 people who could lose access to care if Planned Parenthood’s federal Medicaid funding is shuttered."
Pugh, T. (2017, January 23). If GOP defunds Planned Parenthood clinics, health centers can't handle patient flood. Retrieved March 07, 2017, from https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/if-gop-defunds-planned-parenthood-clinics-health-centers-can’t-handle-patient-flood/ar-AAm7YIH

Paul Ryan has never been Majority Leader. He is the speaker. Make a correction today. I am not putting up with false information about me. I am a citizen of the country that article refers to.
That false information even occurs in the first sentence. I talked to Cheryl Carpenter, the Washington, D.C. bureau chief of Mcclatchy, the organization that originated that error. Did you get a message from her?
Here is part of the official history of the United States of America. http://history.house.gov/People/Office/Majority-Leaders/
As you can see, Ryan's name does not exist on that list. This is important. Do not wait for Carpenter.
Other pages containing the same error were corrected. What is wrong? https://twitter.com/creditscoring/status/836307683334553606

You are not clever. #syndicatederror
Your website also contains this falsity: "After all, Stacy says, insurers, landlords, lenders, merchants and even employers use these scores when deciding whether to offer you credit, rent you a home or give you a job." http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/credit/hallelujah-5-ways-to-get-your-fico-score-for-free/ar-BBiW0I5
Employers do not use credit scores. I looked into it a long time ago. The three consumer reporting agencies who conduct business on a nationwide basis all told me that they do not provide credit scores for employment purposes. That was eight years ago. #Myth2
In 2008, Transunion stated, "TransUnion does not provide a credit score for employment screening purposes."
In the same month, Experian responded, "No, Experian's business policy prevents the inclusion of credit scores with an employment report, at Experian called Employment Insight."
And, also in 2008, Equifax replied, "We do not knowingly provide scores for pre employment screening."
