Yesterday, somebody at the Huffington Post wrote: "CORRECTION: A previous version of this post misidentified Chuck Schumer as the Senate Majority Leader. He is the Senate Minority Leader."

Speaking of the Huffington Post, Eliot Nelson and Jeffrey Young wrote, "Lauren Fox [TPM]: 'In a letter Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) asked local communities to help them organize protests against the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.'"

That is false. Schumer is not Majority Leader.
Speaking of Lauren Fox, Georgia Logothetis wrote, "Over at CNN, Dan Merica and Lauren Fox write about the tax cut for the rich/health insurance bill that is being drafted in secret: 'Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Democrats see Trump's words as an opening to undercut Republican support for the heretofore private bill.'"

That is false. Schumer has never held the title Majority Leader. CNN gets the link. #GetsTheLink
Again, speaking of Lauren Fox, in the first sentence of an article, she wrote, "In a letter Wednesday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) asked local communities to help them organize protests against the repeal of the Affordable Care Act."
Fox, L. (2016, December 28). Democratic Leaders Organize Day Of Opposition To Obamacare Repeal. Retrieved November 08, 2017, from http://talkingpointsmemo.com/dc/democratic-leaders-organize-a-day-of-oppostion-to-obamacare-repeal
That is false. Schumer has never held the title Majority Leader in any legislative body.
Do you get my point?
That is not a rhetorical question. Please answer it (please do not play the Contact Game; you will lose and make this worse). And while I have your attention, look at this: In an item published at cnn.com, Christy Bieber ("for The Motley Fool") wrote
Bad credit will get you denied for loans, which could prevent you from buying a home and building equity (homeowners generally have a much higher net worth than renters). It could also mean paying thousands of dollars more in interest for a mortgage, a car loan, and other consumer debt. It could even mean higher auto insurance costs and the loss of some job opportunities -- even prospective employers may check your credit score.

#Myth2
Who is that woman and how do I (even) contact her? Her article is false. Employers do not use credit scores. I looked into it a long time ago. In fact, the 10th anniversary of that is less than 200 days away. See "Ask Annie - Anne Fisher wrong on credit scores and employers - CNN gets it wrong, again, even failing a veracity test of fundamental American history."
I am sick and tired of false information. I found your email address. Please reply today.
