The Credit Scoring Site A bleak account

California attorney general 34, Part 1

A word. A comma. Utter pandemonium! Literally! What IN THE WORLD is going on in Sacramento? And, who's running that show, anyway? Pfft. #CommsGirl #CA #1104F

Today, May 29, is just another day in Truth Land. #falsity #CA #1104F

And in Government Land, and Silly Con Valley Silly Nonsense Land—and Mocketing Land! #7Septillion #IN #Weekly

Now don't you believe it—BUT—according to an Urban Institute paper, this is a credit myth.

Having a lot of credit cards is bad for your score.

False. The scoring system does not look at how many cards you have, but how you use your cards. To build a strong score, you must pay at least the “minimum balance due” on time, and you must keep the balance on each of your credit cards below 30 percent of the credit limit at all times. If you go above 30 percent on even one of your cards, it signals to the scoring system that you may be in financial trouble, which can lower your score by 20–50 points.10

The paper, "What Is the Cost of Poor Credit?," got a link from the the US Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children & Families Office of Family Assistance State and Tribal Technical Assistance and Resources (STAR). #GetsTheLink #LiveatUrban #Myth4

(Phew.)

Stay in your seat, Truth Fans! You're a Truth Fan, right? This will only take a minute. Truth is easy. 2 and 2 is not 5. #truth #CA #AttorneysGeneral

On the other hand, these are lawyers (Hello, Missouri!)(Thank you, Ohio! #uFAQ). They like to argue, right!?! 😆 #StopTalking #MO #1104F

According to Fair Isaac (the FICO credit score company; myFICO), "There is no specific threshold when utilization begins to negatively impact a FICO score." #Mainstreeter #MT #HiLine

There! That should do it! 😆

Now, back to our California story.

Yet another lawyer at HHS wrote (twice), Banta.

Robinsue Frohboese, J.D., Ph.D said, "The Honorable Rob Banta" and "Dear Attorney General Banta."

There is no such person as Rob Banta. 😆 #falsity #n500 #extant

Famed California lawyer and attorney general Rob Bonta said, "Your credit report, is a record of whether you pay your bills on time, what debt you have, where you've lived, whether you've been sued or arrested, and other information. "

Ooh. That comma. This is out of control!

THIS SHALL NOT STAND! According to some other lawyer, mentioning California Civil Code Section 1786.2, arrests are on a certain type of consumer report, but not a credit report.

All credit reports are consumer reports, but not all consumer reports are credit reports.

¡ɐɥ ɐH

Ha ha! The Honorable Rob Bonta of California is going to love this one! #n202668

He's such a different kind of lawyer—so rational, level-headed, plain-spoken, logical—there is no way he could ignore this! #BrydRetorneth #Whistlestop #SI1247

You, one of the greatest legal minds in the history of the world, said (for better or worse), "Your credit report, is a record of whether you pay your bills on time, what debt you have, where you've lived, whether you've been sued or arrested, and other information."

HOKEY SMOKE! Who told you that?!?

Please reply today.
