You said, "Lenders, employers and apartment managers are using credit scores to help make judgments about the applicant and reduce their own risk," and "A low or nonexistent credit score could mean higher rates for loans or a missed job opportunity at a time in life when a young adult needs a break."
What evidence suggests that employers use credit scores?
What is the name of an employer who uses credit scores?

Greg,
Sorry I must have missed your initial email. My apologies for not responding earlier.
Lenders, employers and even people that rent you an apartment are trying to check credit scores. You can see a number of other articles that refer to this below.

Consumer reporting agencies Equifax, TransUnion and Experian all state that they do not provide credit scores for employment screening.
So, how do the employers get the scores?
Do you know the name of an employer who uses credit scores?

No. It's that simple.
If you internet guys just got your information from a bunch of other internet guys, then that's the story, isn't it?
So, are you a Believer, or a Non-Believer?

Do something now about the unsubstantiated misinformation that you published and continue to maintain on your website.
Your interviewee ignores the challenges to his preposterous statements. Apparently, you still consider him some kind of expert worthy of quoting, but this evidence indicates that he is otherwise.
What is your clarification policy?
