On the Equifax website, at the top of the page in question, it states, "The Equifax Credit Score is based on an Equifax Credit Score model and is not the same as scores used by 3rd parties to assess your creditworthiness.1
However, Footnote 1 states, "It is also commercially available to third-parties along with numerous other credit scores and models in the marketplace."
